Different kinds of soil can be found in various places on Earth. Each kind had properties making it better for certain uses than others.
We had four types of soil today. Pick one and answer the questions.

1. I pick sand, sand looks like small pieces of rock, and I mean small. It also looks like a mixture to me.

it looked like very tinny pieces of wood of wood, and it looked like it had couple of little leaves broken up.
ReplyDeleteit feels like there was a coulpe of tinny soft light pebbles.
it holds water when it soaks up the water in the roots.
i think clay can hold up the most water because the clay was soft in the the container that we saw lab in science and when i see clay it is soft and it holds up a lot of water.
i think the sand is because in the dessert the cactuses dont need a lot of water and they use sand.

2. Humus feels a little dry and flakly but it is very good for plants, but not as good as clay.
