  1. How are weathering, erosion, and deposition connected?

  2. What are constructive and destructive forces?

  3. What is deposition?

  4. How do wind, water, ice and waves change the surface of the Earth?

  5. What happens to the Earth's surface when moving water (flood) hits it?

  1. 1.they are a force
    2.constructive:builds up destructive:breaks down
    3.depositing something.putting down
4.they deposit something and put in new place
    5.weathering,erosion deposition

  2. 1. Weathering is the breaking down of rocks, erosion is the moving of
rocks, and deposition is the washing up of sediments.

    2. Constructive forces create rocks, while destructive forces destroy.

    3. The washing up of sediments.

    4. Wind blows sand, creating sandstorms, while wind can create hurricanes. Water can create canyons. Ice, as glaciers can move slowly creating smooth surfaces. Waves can wash stuff away.

5.floods can wash rocks away, and soak up the ground.

  3. 1 weathering breaks down erosion moves and deposition deposit things

    2 constructive builds,destructive destroy things

    3 deposit of sedament

4 they grind land off land

5 go into the surface and moves it

    ReplyDelete
  4. 1. they have to do with the taking away of sediment.
    2. forces that can build up and break down sediment
    3. the dropping of of sediment
    4. they have to do with erosion
    5. the waves crash sediment away and apart

    ReplyDelete
  5. 1.they both change land in many ways

2construcive force is helpful, destructive force is harmful

3 deposition is where after weathering and erosion happen deposition is the left over sediments

4they change surface by, wearing it away, taking it somehwere else, picking up sediments on the way and creating lanforms

    5. it takes away sediments ( or other stuff) and put it somehwhere else

    ReplyDelete
  6. Weathering is wearing away rock and soil, erosion Is water breaking down the rock, really similar to weathering, and deposition is the settlement of sediment.

Constructive force is something that builds up land, a destructive force is something that destroys land.

Deposition is the settlement of sediment.

Water erodes rock, wind is weathering rock, waves are making the sand wet, and ice can be an iceberg driving to make a canyon.

    1. Weathering, Erosion and Deposition are linked because they go in a sequence with weathering breaking down rocks, erosion moving the pieces and deposition dropping the pieces in places.
    2. Constructive forces make new landforms and Destructive forces destroy landforms.
    3. Deposition is when sediment is eroded and moved to a new spot, when it is laid down is deposition.
    4. Wind, water, ice and waves change the surface of the earth by weathering down surfaces and changing them.
    5. It is quickly moved and eroded. Rivers are created and many surfaces are washed away.

    1. erosion is taking weathered rocks and depositing them somewhere else.
    2. a constructive force builds up landforms. a destructive force destroys landforms.
    3. deposition is when sediment is placed somewhere.
    4. they erode the surface.
    5. the water sweeps up the land and it is placed somewhere else.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 1.They are connected by weathering to break down, erosion to move the sediments. and deposition to drop the sediments.

2.Destuctive forces are forces that take things down such as a volcano. Constructiive forces are forces that build up things like volcanos.

3.Deposition is when the wind water ice and waves drop the sediments of broken down rocks.

    4. Wind, water, ice, and waves change the Earth's surface by weathering down the crust of Earth.

5.The Earth's surface will be weathered down and eroded to the sea.

1.they all help make different landforms on Earth
2.constructive forces build up landforms, destructive forces tear down and destrory things
3.a sediment rock that has gone though weathering and erosion
4.wind can create sand dunes, water can wash away dirt and sand, ice (glaciers) can create rivers, waves can make crakes in rocks

    1. weathering breaks down rocks, erosion carries it away, and deposition is the end of the journey
    2. constuctive forces constructs land features and landforms while destructive forces destroy land features and landforms
    3. where erosion stops and the sediment is placed
    4. wind, water, ice, and waves all are used in weathering and erosion
    5. erosion, the water picks up sediment and rocks and carries it somewhere else digging down into earth

    1.
They all affect how the Earth looks.
    2.
A constructive force is a helpful force and a destructive force is a harmful force.
    3.
Deposition is the geological process by which material is added to a landform or land mass.
    4.
They can cause a flood and glaciers can pick sediment up from the Earth's surface and waves can cause tsunamis.
    5.
Things can be destroyed such as houses buildings ect.

  13. 1.weathering breaks a substance down, erosion moves the substance, and then Deposition drops the substance

    2.Constructive-build up
    Destructive-breakdown

    3. Deposition is the dropping of a weathered and eroded substance

    4.they weather-break down-erode-move-and deposit-drop

5.It changes the surface and creates a new landform

  14. 1 Weathering,Depsition, and Erosion are all the same by changing Earth.2 Constructive forces are forces that creates ex a volcano when it erupts it creates land. A deconstructive force is obviously a destructive force ex tsunami. 3 Deposition is sediment rock that is gone from weathering and erosion. 4 Wind blew away rock water washed away sediment to creat rivers and canyons, ice freezes rock and seperates rocks Waves brush the seabed and creates sand. When a flood hits the Earth's surface water hits sediment and takes it with it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. 1 they all help in the pracess of breaking down sediment.
2 constructive builds stuff up de. breaks stuff down
3moving and resting place of sediment

4water wind and ice shape and reshape Earth's land surface by eroding rock and soil in some areas and depositing them in other areas, sometimes in seasonal layers. Some changes in the earth are due to slow processes, such as erosion, and some changes are due to rapid processes, such as landslides, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes. Natural processes, including freezing and thawing and the growth of roots, cause rocks to break down into smaller pieces. Moving water erodes landforms, reshaping the land by taking it away from some places and depositing it as pebbles, sand, silt, and mud in other places (weathering, transport, and deposition).
    5it makes new landforms

1 all are destructive forces. 2 constructive are things that build up the earth. destructive is the breaking up of earths surface.3 deposition is eroded sediment rock that has gone by the destructive forces such as weathering and erosion.4 they change the earth by picking up loose rocks and crash the earths surface harshly. 5 it slowly erodes rocks away and form canyon

  18. 1.weathering,erostion,and depesition are connected because together they finish a job.that means weatheringand erotion and depesition work together weathering breaks down erotion moves the setements and depition puts them in there spot.
2.constructive is what bilds up or does not destroy.destructive is destroying things.
3.depition the moving of the setement.
4.wind changes the sand on earth, water breaks things up,ice like a glacier destroys everything in its path, and waves can flood the ground and can cause a mud slide.
5.first it can flood and second it can break rock wich changes the earths surface.

    1. Weathering, erosion, and deposition are all the same becaues they all in the water cycle and they are all are in the same cycle!

    2. Constructive~ calm,quiet,none destructive and Destructive~ destroys everything in its path,not calm,and mean!

    3. Deposition~ is eroded sediment rock that has gone by weathering and erosion!

    4. Wind, water, ice and waves change in the Earths weathering seasons!

    5. The water that is moving down the sterm is moving very vast and their is erosion when the water is goinh away!

1]They are the team that uses old landforms and creats new ones.
2]They construct things like canyon but still distroy the flat land it once was.
    3]Deposition is setiment being deposted.
4]Erosion and weaeathering my friend, but a great deal of it is moving water.
5]A great deal of destructivness because it's coming all at one time so a bucketful sediment is headed downward so maybe a new delta.
