  1. What were you in the food web today?

  2. Were you a producer, consumer, or decomposer?

  3. Did your meal worm hatch into a bettle? What did you think?

I was a grasshopper. And I was a consumer. Mine were dead. And the difference between them is that a food chain shows the energy flowing from each one.

    1.I was a squirrel
    2.I was a concumer
3.Yes my meal worm hatched into a beatle I thought it was cool because mine had a baby.
4.The difference between a food chain and a food web is that a chain is a single strand of different levels of energy transfers, but a food web shows the many food chains in a ecosystem.

Today in science lab I was the red fox. I was the consumer today. My meal worm turned into a beetle. It was so gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so scared that I would find one on the ground, that I didn't even sit in my desk. The food chain is the order in which animals get there energy. the food web is the map showing what eats what. producers are always at the bottom.

    1. Today, I was a squirrel in the food web.

    2. I was a consumer. ( eats berries )

    3. My mealworm was either in the pupa stage or was buried. ( misspelled "beetle" )

    4. The difference between a food web and a food chain is that a food web is filled with several combinations of the flow of energy through taking in ( or eating ) the energy that is needed.

There's really not that much differnce between them other than the what they look like and the food web shows more things that the prey or predator eats.

Food chain – moves in a straight line, one consumer eats one producer or consumer.
Food Web - a lot of consumers eat one thing, one consumer eats a lot of things.

    Food webs are Fantastic.

  24. Today in the food web, I was a mushroom (decomposer). No, my meal worm died :,(. a food web is much more complex while a food chain is just the basic layout. (Sun to grass, grass to rabbit, and hawk to rabbit or some thing like that.)

I was grass in the food web which would be a producer.

My mealworm did not. But it's still in the chrysalis. I did not know it was in that stage.
