    1. Bounces off an object
    2. Look at yourself in the mirror
    3. When it bends
    4. A glass of water and put in a pencil- it bends
    5. Alike- they can do things to light. Different- reflection bounces off. Refraction bends

  2. 1.Light is reflected when light bounces back of a surface
2.get a flashlight and put it on a mirror
    3.when light is bended
4.by putting a pencil in water
5.reflection and refraction are different when it bends(refraction).Reflection is the bouncing back(reflection).they are alike because they can be experimented with lights

when light hits a mirror and the light is on the mirror and it is also somewere else.

it means when light goes through and bends.

you shine light through a concave piece of glass.

they are alike because they both involve light.

light bounces off a mirror. point a flashlight at a mirror. light bending. look through a window. they are alike because they have to do with light.they are different because they do different things with the light

    the light bounces back
a mirror has reftection you could see youself

    it goes through and spreads
    a microscope

they are alike because they use glass
tey are different because reflect you can't see through
and refract you can see through

    1. Light is reflected by mirror and anything that light can bounce off!!!!!

    2. Reflection is anything that will bounce off of it.

    3. They alike because they both have anything that will bounce off of and they are different because refraction you will see upside down and reflection is when you could see good!!!!!

    1. light is reflected when light bounces of glass
    2. you could use a mirror
    3. light is refracted when ligt bends in all directions
    4. you could demonstrate by using a prism

4.when you put a pencil in a glass of water

5.reflection and refraction are alike because they both do things to light. They are different because the do different things to light

  11. reflection:
    1. Light is reflected by bouncing off an object.
    2. Throw a ball at a wall. The ball is the light. The ball will bounce of the wall like light bounces off a mirror.
    refraction:
    3. The light is bent.
    4. Put a pencil in a cup of water. The pencil should look bent.
    reflection/refraction:
    5. alike: Have to do with light.
different: one bends light, one reflects light.

    1. The light is bent by the mirror sending it back.
1b. You could see a reflection by shining a flashlight in the mirror and seeing where the light bounces back.
    2. Light is refracted when it travels through an uneven surface like water. The light rays are bent and sent in different directions.
2b. You could demonstrate refraction by putting a straw or a pencil in a glass of water and seeing that it looks bent.
    3. Reflections and refractions are similar because the light rays are bent. They are different because the rays are bent in different ways.

1.Light is reflected by bouncing back of a surface.

    2.A mirroir reflects.

3.Light is refracted when it bends.

4.When stain glass bends light and makes a rainbow.

5.They both deal with light, but to rerlect it must bounce back and to refract is to bend the light.

1.by the light bouncing off the object
2.you can shine a flashlight on to a mirror and the light would bounce back
3.by light shining through an object/lens
4.you can put a pencil in a glass of water and the refraction makes the pencil look like it's broken when it is really not
5.Refraction and reflection are both bending of light Reflection is when the light hits a surface and it bounces back the way it came, though butrefraction is when the light hits a surface and keeps going through

  18. Light is reflected when you look into something like a mirror and the light bounces back in all different directions.
I would demonstrate reflection by looking in a mirror.
Light is refracted when it bounces off an objec and then it bends.
I would demonstrate refraction by putting a pencil in water.
They are alike because they both bounce off of the object it is hitting but they are different because when something refracts it also bends.

    Reflection:
    1. Light is reflected when the light bounces off a smooth surface.

    2. I would write my name on a blank sheet of paper, get a mirror, and put it over my name. Then my name would be inverted.

    Refraction:
    1. When light bends from 1 material into the other.

    2. When people can't see well and use glasses.

    Reflection and Refraction:
    1. Similar - they both have to refer to waves, cause a change in direction, and depend on the material in contact.
Different - refraction is the bending of light and reflection is the bouncing of light.

    Reflection:

    1. Light is reflected by bounceing off walls and mirrors.

    2. I would hold a flash light to a mirror in the dark and let it bounce back at me.

    Refraction:

    1. Light is refracted when it passes from one transparent medium to another and the speed slows down.

    2. I would hold a flashlight up above a bucket of water and let the light shine down on it.

    Reflection/Refraction:

    1. Reflection and refraction are similar because they both refer to waves. Reflection and refraction are diffrent because reflection bounces off mirrors and walls in angles. Whereas refraction goes through and bends.

  29. The light can bounce off of flat surfaces such as mirror, door, car window. You show somebody by using light on mirror. Refraction goes through one place to another. Refraction goes through glass prism. Reflection bounce light in any direction and refraction goes through in a straight line from one object to another object.

  36. Reflection:
    1. when light is pointed at an object then light rays bounce back at the same angle.
    2. when you look in a mirror

    Refraction:
    1. when light goes through an object bending the light rays outward
    2. eye glasses refract light

    Reflection/Refraction:
    1. The differences are that reflection is when light rays hit an object and bounce back at the same angle, and refraction is when light rays pass through and the light rays bend.
    2. In order to find the angle something reflects or refracts you need to know the angle of the incidence
